Flamenco Music and Dance
Artistic Director Martín Santangelo returns to the Rialto stage with Soledad Barrio and the acclaimed Noche Flamenca dance company, perhaps Spain’s most acclaimed flamenco troupe. Santangelo’s dancers, known for their transcendent, emotional performance style, are recognized as today’s most authentic champions of flamenco—a performance style that has been described as “not a dance…a philosophy of the soul.” Noche Flamenca exquisitely balances dance, song, and music, bringing to life the heart and soul of this fiery, passionate art form. This performance will be part of a multi-day residency and will include master classes in flamenco guitar and dance.
