"Breaking Up" follows Steve and Alice throughout that all too familiar journey of heartbreak, rejection, reconnection, passion and loneliness that is unmistakably identifiable to anyone who has ever been or will ever be in a relationship. As their paths intertwine, it is sometimes sad, sometimes funny, often poignant and ultimately human.

No Name Players' mission is to explore the theatre as a collaborative art form. As such, we have enlisted the participation of a number of local visual artists for this production. We are especially excited about this venture because it unites local artists of varied and eclectic sensibilities and disciplines, allowing us to progress together toward a common goal. In this particular case, each visual artist was given a scene from the play. They were asked to create a piece based on their emotional response to that scene. These pieces will be actively included in the scenic design of the production and will also be on display in the lobby throughout the duration of the performances. This is a tremendous opportunity for us. Aligning ourselves with local artists representing a variety of disciplines is one of our passions as a company. By our estimation, this will be the first of many collaborations of this sort!

"Breaking Up" features Tressa Glover and Jody O'Donnell and is being directed by No Name Players' Artistic Director Don DiGiulio. The production team is comprised of Nick Coppula, Dave Ranallo and Mike McMullen.
