It's not everyday that a first generation Cuban American, finesses a glass slide along the strings of her acoustic guitar with her foot stomping in time to the swampiest groove this side of the Mississippi Delta, but that is exactly how Nini Camps takes the stage. Don't be mislead however, into thinking that bluesy slide work is the only thing this New York City based, independent, singer, songwriter, guitarist has to offer. Musically, she goes beyond the conventions of todays popular music fearlessly blurring the lines of pop, country, folk and rock to create a sound that is as diverse as it is powerful.
