Nightmare on Fairgrounds Road features: a haunted house, a haunted hayrack ride, a kid’s fun fair, concession stand, bonfire, storytelling and souvenirs. Be prepared for a full evening of fun and entertainment.
Haunted Barn – The old, creepy, beef barn at the Bureau County Fairgrounds is transformed into the main haunted attraction. Wind through the dark on dirt floors in this old wooden building, which only adds to the atmosphere of the haunted house. The barn even comes with its own bats. You never know what is going to pop out of the corner or appear in the maze of tunnels throughout the barn. And, you won’t want to miss any of the haunted scenes within the barn.
Haunted Hayrack Ride – The haunted hayrack ride is your first stop at Nightmare on Fairgrounds Road. Take a ride through the darkened fairgrounds…beware, as you never know what you’ll see.
Kid’s Fun Fair – For those too young to go through the Haunted Houses, but who still want to enjoy the Halloween season. Stop in at Kiddie Kingdom and play Halloween limbo, hopscotch and golf. Color or play with Play-Doh. Dig for pennies, candy and other prizes in the corn dig or get a Halloween tattoo. A $1.00 donation per child under 6 is appreciated.
Mummies’ Eatery - Stop by for some Halloween treats before you go. At Mummies Eatery you’ll find only the finest in haunted dining.
