Niagara Glen Nature Reserve
Niagara Falls, Ontario

Ontario Nature along with the Niagara Parks Commission are calling on
volunteers to come out to one or both day long events to help preserve
the Niagara Glen Nature Reserve; a Carolinian forest that contains one
of the largest concentrations of species-at-risk found anywhere in
Canada. Volunteers will help preserve this special place by marking
hiking trails and closing unsanctioned spur trails to keep visitors'
feet on the path and away from its vulnerable habitats and species. It
is free to participate in this event and volunteers can expect some
physical work as well as a high level of enjoyment and satisfaction.
