Leonard Russell, an NFL football player who previously played professional football with the New England Patriots, will hold an NFL Football Camp for children ages 8 to 13 years old. The event will take place on Saturday, June 27th from noon to 4 p.m. at the Cesar Chavez Community Center, 2060 University Ave., Riverside.
Invited NFL Alumni Players include Skip Hicks, Matt Stevens, Mike Sherrod, Roman Phifer, Duval Love and Leroy Irvin.
The event will feature a speed and agility clinic, fooball specific drills, lunch and motivational speakers. The camp is sponsored by Russell's "Say Yes 2 Life" Foundation for the Future of our Youth and proceeds go toward Family Service Association, a nonprofit organization that serves Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
Cost is $150 per player and sponsors are needed.
