New York Singles Dog Sledding & Winter Adventure Day February 11, 2007

Ever dreamed of what it would be like to be pulled in a wooden toboggan by a large pack of Siberian Huskies through wintry terrain? Here's your chance!

Feel the breeze as the wood under your feet glides across the snow and ice as the patter of dozens of enthusiastic paws becomes the only soundtrack to your travels on a one-hour ride in the mountains. Before you depart you will get a chance to meet the dogs and of course take plenty of photographs. You will be given a brief but thorough introduction on MUSHING, the art, science and history of dog sledding and "man's best friend". Through the course of the ride, you will also get the opportunity to MUSH the dogs through the course of the ride!

But more winter fun is in store! After the sledding is complete, you will get your choice of ice skating, x-country skiing or snowshoeing. Take your pick! Then grab some hot cocoa and warm up by the fire before we head back to the city just in time for dinner.
