The first day is crazy crowded because the event is being marketed as a family fiesta. Lots of people going now that don't give a hooey about fiber. Ah well. Makes for super long lines for lunch and potty.
Save your beans so you can go hog wild on the splendiferous array of goods that will be before you. Last year, to save money, we rented out a cabin. Other friends rented out nearby cabins and we had a nice little spin in. Until the electricity and heat went out. No camping this year for us.
