New York City Trivia Rumble!
Popular Monthly Trivia Night Returns July 3, 6:00pm

What subway line would you take to get from Yankee Stadium to Coney Island? On what street was Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti album cover shot? Which direction does traffic flow on Central park East? What current world leader gave a campaign speech at Cooper Union in March 2008?

Test your New York City knowledge against other neighborhood know-it-alls at this popular trivia event held every-first-Friday of the month at the Bowery Poetry Club. Compete for fun, prizes and bragging rights and meet some pretty interesting New Yorkers.

The event consists of three-rounds of questions, a speed round, and a stump the panel segment with guest historians, authors and tour guides.

This is an East Village History Project fund raiser. EVHP is a non-profit organization dedicated to researching and documenting the history of the greater Lower East Side of Manhattan. Through its partnership with the Bowery Poetry Club, EVHP operates the East Village Visitor Center at 308 Bowery (http://eastvillagevisitorscenter.com), which offers visitor information, historic exhibits, walking tours, educational programs, workshops and a cafe.
