New York City Apple Day & The Go Green LES Kick Off

Where: Orchard Street btw Broome and Grand
Hosted by the Lower East Side Business Improvement District, New York City Apple Day is a free, fun street festival held on Orchard Street between Broome and Grand Streets on the site of the old DeLancey Apple Orchard on the Lower East Side, NYC. On Sunday, October 19th, between 11 am and 4:30 pm, Apple Day will feature music, family activities, an apple pie-eating contest, neighborhood walking tours, and of course, all you can eat Apple samples!

Everything from Apples to Apple Pie to Apple Wine! To add to the festivities, Go Green Lower East Side will be hosting their kick off event at Apple Day with free eco-friendly give-a-ways and fun tips on how to "green" your life.
