New York Choral Society: Dvorak's Stabat Mater May 1, 2011

The NYCS' 52nd season will close with a memorable performance of Dvorak's highly emotive Stabat Mater featuring acclaimed soprano Angela Meade and the Brooklyn Philharmonic. This monumental piece - extremely spiritual and heavily influenced by the composer's personal life experiences - is one of the most powerful works in Dvorak's repertoire.
