Come wander through the grass or snow. What mammals migrate, hibernate or stay around in winter? For the ones that stay around, what do they eat, where do they sleep? What birds migrate or stay around? Do any birds hibernate? Will we find any tracks signs of wildlife? If there happens to be sufficient snow on the ground bring your snowshoes. If there is little or no snow wear hiking boots. Bring binoculars. Dress appropriately and bring water. No pets. Meet Volunteer Naturalist Ed Blum at the Homestead Parking Lot. Please reserve your place for this hike by calling 303-688-5242.
