Nash 3 to Host New Year’s Eve Benefit for Champions Kids Camp
Houston’s own Bill and Kim Nash will host the 10th Annual New Year’s Eve Bash and benefit concert for Champions Kids Camp, a non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization on December 31, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Houston North Greenspoint, 423 Sam Houston Parkway E., Houston, 77060.
Champions Kids Camp is dedicated to the nurturing of children who have survived a traumatic injury, illness or personal loss. The fundraiser is open to the general public and will feature the music of Bill and Kim Nash, with a special appearance by Jimmy Nash, who is flying in from Los Angeles to be a part of the evening. Jimmy will be performing with his parents as Nash 3 as well as perform selections from his new album, which was released on Nov. 15.
Dinner, Dancing, a midnight toast and live and silent auctions will round out the night.

ABOUT CHAMPIONS KIDS CAMP: Champions Kids Camp is dedicated to the nurturing of children who have survived a traumatic injury, illness or personal loss, such as the loss of a parent or sibling. Through a week-long camp, children between the ages of 8 and 12 are able to heal from the “emotional scarring” they have experienced in their young lives. The main objective at camp is to help instill a sense of pride in every child and let them know that they’re not victims, they’re survivors, and therefore, Champions!
ABOUT BILL AND KIM NASH: This dynamic singing duo blends their collective talents into a truly unique, one-of-a-kind harmony-driven sound. Both travelled and sang with their families from an early age. Bill was part of the Nash Family Trio, who recorded 2 albums for Columbia Records. Later, Bill began a solo career on Mercury Records which led to TV appearances in chart-topping records. In 1980, Bill met Kim and they formed a duo and began writing and singing together. They have written top hits for internationally known stars like Reba McEntire (“They Asked About You”), and Diamond Rio (“In God We Still Trust”.)
ABOUT JIMMY NASH: Jimmy Nash, who grew up sleeping on the floors of recording studios where his parents were working, never thought he would grow up to follow in his family’s footsteps. All he knew at that time was that making records took too long and was way too boring. Well, he grew up to find himself in Brotheryn Studios with producer Todd Hannigan recording
his own songs. Not so boring anymore! A singer/songwriter who is breaking new ground in the world of Acoustic Pop. He was born in Houston, bounced around Nashville for his formative years, sang all around the great state of Texas, then Jimmy made his way
to California to find his true musical calling. In addition to singing, he also plays guitar and piano as well as writes every song with his partner and mother, Kim Nash. He recently released his first EP, “Tomorrow”, as well as a holiday single, “First Christmas in Love.”
