Ring in the New Year with kid-friendly traditions and Father Time! This is the only local New Year's Eve event designed specifically for children during daylight hours. The party atmosphere of this day lends itself to a celebration for the whole family. As part of the traditional celebration, the Museum will host a countdown with Father Time and Baby New Year, complete with a colorful, air-filling confetti drop at the strike of noon. At 1 p.m., Father Time will lead guests in an energetic dance party. Children will make hats, wands, and shakers in preparation for a grand parade at 2 p.m. and participate in an extravaganza of popping, bubble wrap "fireworks". Guests may also get a souvenir photo taken to commemorate the day's festivities.
