New Year – New LinkedIn Profile January 24, 2012

Most people just jump in, setup their profile and let it be. In his presentation, “New Year - New LinkedIn Profile” social media guru and Employment Ministry coach, David McDermit, ACB, will show you how to go beyond the basics so you can showcase who you are, sell your expertise and establish your personal brand.

We meet Tuesday, January 24 in the St. Mary Immaculate Parish at 15629 South Route 59 in Plainfield.

If you are new to networking, come at 6:30 pm for an introduction to networking tools like the Handbill and the Elevator Speech. At 7:00 pm, our program featuring David McDermit will start. Later, you can work one-on-one with David or our other coaches to improve your resume, to practice skills or expand your network. Bring copies of your handbill or resume.

We help job seekers succeed. There is no cost to attend, pre-registration is not required, and everyone is welcome. Our members represent all ages, work backgrounds and future desires. Dress is casual.
