New West is a four-piece Philadelphia band fronted by vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist Christ Zurich. New West began as a Mars Volta cover band in a basement in West Philly, but has since evolved, musically. New West "draws on vintage-soul sounds, blended through increasingly electronic templates while maintaining rock roots."
