New Voices New Play Festival April 13, 2006

THE NEW VOICES NEW PLAY FESTIVAL: Ten Columbia University M.F.A. playwrights present their master works in staged readings directed and performed by some of New York?s finest theatre artists. This year, our directors include Eduardo Machado, Mary Catherine Burke, Lou Moreno, Mariana Carre?o, Cecil Mackinnon, Daniel Jaquez, Margaret Perry, Alex Lippard and Rebecca Brown. Although we are still in the process of casting the readings, past participants have included Swoosie Kurtz, Estelle Parsons, Julie White, Nancy Giles, Ed Vassallo, Billy Crudup, Didi O?Connell, David Strathairn, Dan Lauria, Mary Louise Burke and Logan Marshall Green.

THE NEW VOICES NEW PLAY FESTIVAL begins Thursday, April 13 and runs through Saturday, April 29th. All performances are at the Lion Theatre at Theatre Row Studios, 410 West 42nd Street.
