Registrations are now being taken for Year 2, New Testament Foundations, a Biblical Institute of the Diocese of Joliet study program held on Saturday mornings 9-11am at St. Mary Immaculate Parish in Plainfield beginning Saturday, September 11. Year 2 study does not require completion of the Year 1 course.
The Biblical Institute offers in-depth study of each book of the Bible over a four-year program, with the guidance of an experienced teacher. In this weekly class, students learn the Catholic approach to reading the Bible within a faith-oriented community.
Students may also register for Year 1, Old Testament Foundations. The course starts September 16 at St. Petronille parish in Glen Ellyn.
Registration closes September 8. For more information on either program, go to www.dioceseofjoliet.org/reo/ and click on the Biblical Institute tab or call 630-281-4515.
