Open mic followed by featured reader Karrie Waarala. Her work has appeared in the national poetry slam anthologies High Desert Voices and Estrology and the journals Writers’ Bloc and Bestiary. Her latest chapbook is Yesterday Is a Wildfire. Karrie is heading off to Maine, where she is pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing and working on a one-woman show due to be staged in 2011.
