New Lost City : New Years Eve
Arrive after 9pm and stay through sunrise...
For details see: http://www.newlostcity.com

This New Years Eve we drink our inspiration from the lost
cities of decadence. Dozens of performers have come
together to create a New Years Eve explosion of spontaneous
acts of spectacle and communal games of chance all set to
the beat of the best dj's this side of Singapore.

We begin the New Year with an exploration of...

...a city of Glamour:
Dress in your best thrift-store formal and self-made chic.
On this night we channel the opulence of Monte Carlo by
way of Bushwick Brooklyn. With games of chance of
exploded proportion created by Ryan O'Conner, bawdy
burlesque shows presented by Gemini & Scorpio and dance
tracks from a time before any of us remember spun by the
Vintage DJ.

...a city of Sound:
The dance floor will be live through sunrise with dj's
playing classics to deep-beats to a late-night intelligent
techno sunrise with House Connoisseurs: The Super Family;
Infamous Record Selector: $mall Change: Techno Aficionado:
dj Kimyon; and Gamelan Orchestra: Amoeba Collective
featuring Zemi 17 & Dok.

...a city of Spectacle:
This will be a midnight you will never forget as Akim Funk
Buddha, The Lady Circus and a cabal of performers start
your New Year with a high-flying riot of champagne,
confetti, kisses from strangers and a touch of fire.

...a city of Intimate Spaces:
In the Rouge Lounge sip sweetened absinthe and listen
closely as the Hydrogen Jukebox Cirkus interjects sideshow
acts into a soulful live sound born of a performance
culture that's never been lost but is often hidden.

In the New Lost City everything comes easy...

Come before 10pm for free open-beer-bar and arrive in
self-made-chic for free bottles of champagne at midnight.
This night is defined by our best intentions, intoxications
and the wide-open possibility of the New Year to come.
