New Hampshire: Women's White Mountains Weekend July 28, 2011

Travel north with us for a women's weekend alpine adventure in New Hampshire. Join us for three days of hiking and exploring above treeline in the White Mountain National Forest. We will stay two nights at the Zealand Falls Hut, an Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) High Hut. Staying at this historic AMC hut in the Pemigewasset Wilderness will give us a chance to explore trails and mountains, and then kick back after a day of hiking to enjoy their hospitality, hearty meals, and clean, comfortable accommodations. As we hike, we will learn about the alpine ecosystem and the plants and animals that inhabit these areas. - - It will be a fun-filled three days during which we will experience awe-inspiring views, sunsets, waterfalls, and mountain lakes, making it an unforgettable, enriching outdoor experience. We encourage participants to have some hiking experience, even if you are a beginner, but welcome all levels of hikers - just bring a positive attitude!
