The fair will be held on Oct 15th and starts at 10 am and goes until 7 pm but for all you hungry early birds, the Boy Scouts will be having a pancake breakfast from 8 am to 10 am. At 10 am the fair officially opens with a local teen resident signing the national anthem. The Lions Club will offer one of the largest car shows around with 19 categories. The fair will have more crafters than ever, Laser Tag, a bounce house, rock wall climbing, an antique tractor show, snowmobile expo, Big Red the monster Fire Truck, barrel rides for kids, a special tent just for kids with a pumpkin coloring contest and a costume contest. The fair will also have a petting zoo and pony rides and there will be a vintage baseball game, karate demonstrations, a cheerleader demonstration and even Thomas Jefferson will stop by for a visit. Slugger from the Portland Sea Dogs will be back again this year along with all of our favorite fair foods. To end the Fair, the Fair Committee plans on its largest fireworks display yet.
