New England Ballet Nutcracker Suite Gala December 15, 2007

Nutcracker Suite Gala will be hosted by New England Ballet at the Milford Yacht Club on December 15th, from 7:00-10:00 p.m. This is the Ballet Company's largest annual fundraising event. New England Ballet is a not-for-profit organization that exists to promote arts education and to serve the community by giving performing opportunities to dancers of all ages and levels, children through adult. In addition to its acclaimed public performances of Nutcracker, the Ballet Company performs annually throughout the state for numerous school audiences. The Bringing Arts to Children School Show Series includes Firebird, Nutcracker Suite, Peter and the Wolf, and The Adventures of Red Riding Hood. In order to present the excellent performances that audiences have come to expect and fulfill its mission to bring dance into the lives of children, New England Ballet needs the financial support of the community. New England Ballet invites all patrons of the arts and dance enthusiasts to a holiday season opportunity to support the arts in Connecticut. The Nutcracker Gala will feature a performance of selections from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite Ballet by Company dancers, silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, pasta, carving station, dessert, wine, beer, and soda.
