Paul Greenberg, author
Our relationship with the ocean is undergoing a profound transformation; there is a distinct possibility that our children's children will never eat a wild fish that has swum freely in the sea. In Four Fish, award-winning writer and lifelong fisherman Paul Greenberg explores the history of the fish that dominate our menus—salmon, sea bass, cod and tuna—and examines where each stands at this critical moment in time.
The Aquarium has been providing free lectures and films by scientists, environmental writers, photographers and others since 1972. The Aquarium Lecture Series is presented free to the public through the generosity of the Lowell Institute, which has been providing funding for free public lectures at universities and museums since 1836. Lectures are free and open to the public. Registration is requested. Programs last approximately one hour followed by a reception.
