New Bern Ghostwalk 2009 - "The Roaring and Sizzling 20s" October 22, 2009

Ghosts and goblins haunt the Historic District of New Bern where 1920’s entertainment is alive and well. This year’s theme sizzles with excitement as it spotlights local and national characters from the 1920s and remembers the Great Fire of 1922. Visitors tour downtown historic sites, buildings, churches and homes where they encounter ghosts recalling New Bern during the 1920s.‘Spirited’ Cedar Grove Cemetery and the Masonic and Athens Theatres are open to ticket holders on Thursday, October 22. All ghost sites as well as the cemetery and theatres are open to ticket holders on Friday, October 23 and Saturday October 24.
