New Balance Girls on the Run 5k November 20, 2010

The New Balance Girls on the Run 5k, is the culmination of Girls on the Run of Southeastern Michigan's 10-week season. Girls aged 8-13 will celebrate their "girl power" by running 3.1 miles together with their parents, teachers and community members on the campus of St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. The run is open to the public and everyone is welcome to participate.

All proceeds from this event benefit Girls on the Run of Southeastern Michigan

Event Schedule:
Saturday, November 20
Noon - 4 p.m. - Girls on the Run Expo and packet pick-up

Sunday, November 21
8 a.m. - Event day registration opens
9:30 a.m. - Opening ceremony
10 a.m. - Non-competitive 5k start time
11 a.m. - Kids' 100M dash - free event for children 7 & under 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Post event celebration

Event Fees:
$20 on or before Friday, Nov. 19; $30 on Saturday, Nov. 20 and Sunday, Nov. 21 FREE for Girls on the Run fall Participants
