With its highly successful 2006 expansion and renovation as impetus, The Morgan Library & Museum engaged in a major effort to grow its renowned collections and the results of this activity are unveiled in an exhibition entitled 'New at the Morgan: Acquisitions Since 2004.' The approximately one hundred works in the show underscore the great scope of the Morgan's collecting interests and include old and new master drawings, literary and musical manuscripts, illuminated texts, and printed books and bindings. The selections in New at the Morgan were chosen from more than 1,200 works acquired since 2004 as well as a large group of musical items that came to the Morgan as part of the James Fuld Collection.
