Want to give the kids something to do but don’t want to commit to signing up for a summer camp? You’re in luck. This summer, the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center is teaming up with City ArtWorks and Creative Movement Camp to offer afternoon programs for kids from 3-5 p.m.
The Creative Movement programs focus on locomotor skills with the use of music and games. Campers will enjoy dance, yoga, rhythm instruments, tumbling and gardening. Instructors will guide children through non-competitive activities that will stimulate mind and body.
The City ArtWorks programs are nature-themed art programs designed to allow the natural world to inspire the children’s art.
