This installation will showcase four rare Tiffany stained glass windows. Tiffany Studios produced thousands of religious stained glass windows in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, but more than half of these have been lost. The windows recently acquired by the Art Museum were originally commissioned for St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Avondale. They will be displayed with the Art Museum's important collection of Tiffany blown glass vases to underscore the significance of Louis Comfort Tiffany's contributions to the history of American decorative art and design.
