We've all heard the phrase, "It's who you know, not what you know." But in a city of 12 million people or so, how does one start building that all important network of friends, colleagues and business contacts? How does one get beyond exchanging meishi to building a useful network to rely upon at any given time? Let Andrew Shuttleworth and Gary Bremermann show you how.
Andrew Shuttleworth and Gary Bremermann are two well-known networkers in Tokyo. During this presentation, they will share some of the things they have learned during their many years spent building a strong network of trusted, personal contacts.
Gary will talk about how to network offline successfully and Andrew will share some tips and tricks for successful networking online, making use of some of the many sites and services available to us.
The event will begin with a buffet and drinks at 7:30pm, followed by presentations from 8pm - 9pm. Event ends (after networking, of course) at 10:00pm. Cost is JPY3500 at the door.
To register, please email JMEC at info@jmec.gr.jp before EOB Wednesday, April 22. See you there!
