Rumors by Neil Simon. An uproarious farce-comedy by Americas funniest playwright. As the guests are about to arrive for a tenth wedding anniversary party, the husband (who happens to be the Deputy Mayor of New York) has just shot himself, and his wife is nowhere in sight. Though only a flesh wound, the party guests are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. His Honors lawyer and wife Chris must get "the story" straight (and apply the politically correct spin) before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity. The show is rated PG-17 (language).
