Official Website Stuff
Celebrate Earth Day with the whole family, Edmontonians and the World! From its humble beginnings in 1970, Earth Day has grown into the largest single annual initiative in the world, embracing all races, religions, and cultures without barriers. Earth Day´s mandate is to create, initiate, encourage, support and celebrate environmental awareness and activities in all areas of human endeavour, empowering Canadians to make a positive difference in how we walk together on this earth... In its 18th year of celebration, Edmonton Earth Day brings together environmental, wholistic, peace, human and animal rights organizations as well as environmentally friendly businesses in order to educate and inspire festival visitors. Lots of hands-on kids activities, 6 hours of top class live entertainment, environmental and wholistic mini-workshops and body-friendly food fair make this one of Edmonton´s best festivals, and Canada´s largest Earth Day event.
