Nazareth College celebrates the life of civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. through a series of special events on Monday, January 17, 2011. From 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., a lively celebration of the powerful legacy of Dr. King will be held on the Nazareth College campus in the Linehan Chapel of the Golisano Academic Center. The commemoration includes student speakers, singers, inspirational readings and dance. This event is organized by the MLK Commemoration Committee, which includes Nazareth students, faculty and staff. Undergraduate and graduate classes will be suspended during this two-hour span.
