As part of International Education Week, Nazareth College's Center for International Education celebrates with a performance of Gypsy tunes and some classical pieces by The Ferenc Santa Jr. Gypsy band in the Linehan Chapel, located in the Golisano Academic Center on the Nazareth College Campus.
The performance is open to the public and a reception will follow the concert on the lower level of the Golisano Academic Center in Sorelles with Hungarian wines and pastries supplied by the Hungarian Club of Rochester. This program is sponsored by the Center for International Education, the Department of Music, and the Hungarian Club of Rochester.
The Ferenc Santa Jr. Gypsy Band is internationally known throughout Europe and the U.S. Ferenc Santa Jr.,the first fiddle, is a recipient of the Kossuth Award - the highest artistic award in Hungary.
