In proud support of Los Angeles’ Navy Week, the Los Angeles Zoo hosts America’s Sailors for a day of animal fun, education, and visitor activities. The Los Angeles Zoo and Los Angeles Navy Week give area residents an opportunity to meet the heroic Navy Sailors and learn about the Navy's critical mission and its broad-ranging capabilities.
The men and women of the American Navy will land at the L.A. Zoo on Friday, July 29, during the week long “welcome home” celebration. To add to the fun, the Sailors will also feature the Navy Band, interactive Science, Technology, Engineering and Management (STEM) displays, a variety of static vehicle displays, and hundreds of sailors representing America's Global Force for Good™.
