Who was it that first decided to bring a tree indoors, anyways? Why are Poinsettia’s red
in winter? Why does mistletoe, which is a parasitic plant, inspire people to kiss? Learn the
legendary explanations to these questions and more. In addition to hearing the stories behind
familiar seasonal greenery, guests will have the opportunity to use their senses to experience less
traditional holiday plants. This fun-filled family event will include crafts made from both natural
and recycled materials.
Leave with charming handmade holiday decorations and a new appreciation for nature’s role in
