The Mono Lake Committee, the Mono Basin National Forest Scenic Area, and the Mono Lake Tufa State Reserve lead guided walks at South Tufa. Walks last about an hour. This is a federal fee area, but the walks are no additional charge. Contact: www.monolake.org 760-647-6595.
