Our Mission
To encourage and assist women in their quest to pursue or maintain their God-given natural beauty, by sharing our collective experiences in an effort to become more authentic, balanced and stewards to the needs of others.
Our History
The concept of a Natural Hair Support Group is mentioned in the book "Curly Girl" written by Lorraine-Massey. The idea of starting a group was discussed between Ms. H. Johnson and Ms. J. Roe the summer of 2009. Plans were later made to host their first event of that same year.
Our Mantra

My hair is not a curse, but it is my
crown and glory.
I will make healthy life choices and wear my natural hair proudly.
I will not be bashful, ashamed, or disappointed by my hair.
