Most people believe that the only insects that pollinate flowers are Hone ybees. However, there are an incredible number of native bees that we have all seen, but we fail to recognize the benefits that they provide to our gardens. Dr. Winfree lifetime study is developing a better understanding of the various native bees, the habitats and plants to which they are attracted and the general environment that they like to call home. Her presentation will not only give you a better appreciation for the natural world around us, but will help you create habitats for preserving our native pollinator friends!
