Our annual Native American Festival promises to be the better than ever this year. Come listen to the old stories, see the colorful Native American Regalia, and enjoy the music. Again this year, we are honored to have the Cherokee educator and native culturist, Diamond Brown, who created the educational field trip program called “Touch the Earth with Native People” that tells the story of the Native Americans and their culture from the Native perspective. He is also involved in other educational endeavors. Other guests are Bobbie Orr, Salish Flathead - Champion Woman's Traditional and Greg Trammell, Flute Player. Hear the singing by noted artists and the beating of the ceremonial drums. Plan to visit the Native American vendors featuring Native American crafts and food. The hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and free parking is across the street. For information, please contact Trina Mansfield, at 770-655-5905, or e-mail t_r_m@etcmail.com
