Native American Celebration of Culture November 16, 2007

November brings lessons of Native American culture to every classroom. This year, take your learning to a new level by joining the MPM for a special two-day event devoted to teaching about those who were here first. See real artifacts at our information stations and partake in an interactive array of activities exploring the music, dance and customs behind these artifacts. MPM Curator emerita Nacncy Lurie, one of the nations foremost North American Indian scholars, will be signing books in the MPM Marketing place from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm both days. All Celebrations of Culture events, sponsored by Miller Brewing Company, are free with museum admission.
