National ZooFari: Savanna Soiree May 17, 2007

Get ready for a magical evening of gourmet foods, fine wines, fabulous entertainment, and dancing under the stars. As it has for more than 20 years, ZooFari will bring together more than 100 of the Washington, D.C., area’s finest restaurants and vintners.

This year’s ZooFari, called Savanna Soirée, celebrates the Zoo’s many African animals, including African lions, cheetahs, and scimitar-horned oryx. At this wild gala, you can enjoy live jazz, R&B, big band tunes, acoustic guitar, and more. The African bush has never sounded better.

What’s more, a sweepstakes and silent auction will feature a wide array of prizes, from behind-the-scenes Zoo tours to luxurious getaways, sports memorabilia, and more.
