National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Scotland with Mike Walker July 8, 2011

Scotland’s finest young jazz musicians are joined by sensational jazz, fusion and funk guitarist Mike Walker and saxophonist Iain Dixon, in a performance of new works composed for this tour.

Named by The Guardian as “one of the most powerful jazz guitarists in Europe.” Walker here performs with long-time musical collaborator, Iain Dixon. Brazilian rhythms, urban beats and vocal samples are introduces to fluent improvisation, creating a surprising, uplifting and spectacular jazz-fusion concert.
