Cho-Liang Lin, violin
World renowned violinist Cho-Liang Lin’s return to the National Philharmonic is always cause for celebration. Lin’s recording Prokofiev’s violin concertos with the Los Angeles Philharmonic is cited as one of the best ever captured. Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4 begins with somber tones, but finishes with the composer’s prescription for happiness: “Rejoice in others’ rejoicing.”
