National Japanese American Memorial Foundation Annual Gala April 17, 2009

The Gala is an annual fundraiser for the National Japanese American Memorial Foundation (NJAMF). This year, it commemorates the 21st anniversary of the Civil Liberties Act of 1988. The evening will honor CBS Television Network; three surviving Japanese American Medal of Honor Recipients, Senator Daniel K. Inouye, Hiroshi “Hershey” Miyamura, and George T. NJAMF educates the public about the Japanese American experience during World War II to ensure such actions never take place again to any group.
