National Ice Cream Day at MOSI July 15, 2012

Sunday, July 15, 2012 is National Ice Cream Day, and for the fifth year Blue Bell Ice Cream will celebrate with guests at Tampa’s Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI).

On Sunday afternoon, anyone who attends MOSI will be treated to cups of hand-dipped Blue Bell Ice Cream (while supplies last). Blue Bell will be serving the ice cream, included with MOSI admission, from noon until 2 p.m. in the Grand Lobby.
As guests are enjoying their ice cream, they will have an opportunity to see MOSI’s InterActors demonstrate the Science of Freezing with a cryo freezing demonstration, using liquid nitrogen. It too will take place in the Grand Lobby.

The newest Blue Bell flavor, Summer Strawberry Pie Ice Cream, will be featured at MOSI on National Ice Cream Day. It is a luscious strawberry ice cream combined with sweetened strawberries, flaky piecrust pieces and a whipped topping swirl. For those who prefer something more traditional, Blue Bell’s most popular ice cream, Homemade Vanilla, will also be served.
