Guests of Tampa’s Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI) on July 19 will be treated to a cool treat again this year in honor of National Ice Cream Day. Blue Bell Ice Cream will be serving ice cream samples, free with MOSI admission (while supplies last), from noon to 2:00 in the Grand Lobby.
As they enjoy their ice cream, guests will observe MOSI’s InterActors demonstrate the Science of Freezing with their Cryo freezing demonstration, using liquid nitrogen.
The newest flavor to join the Blue Bell family, Nutty Chocolate, will be featured, which is a rich chocolate ice cream loaded with milk-chocolate coated pecans, dark-chocolate coated peanuts, white-chocolate coated almonds and roasted walnuts. For those who prefer something more traditional, Blue Bell’s most popular ice cream, Homemade Vanilla, will also be available; it’s delicious, homemade tasting vanilla ice cream with a special hand-cranked flavor that’s the best in the country.
For more information call (813) 987-6000 or go to www.mosi.org and click on Special Events. MOSI is located in at 4801 E. Fowler Ave., across from the USF Sun Dome.
