National Equality March: What It Is & Why You Should Go September 17, 2009

On October 10th and 11th, thousands of activists will be marching on Washington, DC to demand equal rights and treatment for the nation's Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender communities. Since the passage of Proposition 8 in California last November, we have seen a grassroots movement for same-sex marriage and against discrimination spring up in all regions of the United States. This march, far from being an end-point, is a major step in strengthening and solidifying this movement. Come to this forum to hear why you should be on the bus to DC in October!
