The City of Warren will observe the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 12:00-12:45pm at Warren City Hall, 1 City Square off Van Dyke between 12 & 13 Mile. This National observance is held the 1st Thursday of May, inviting people to pray for our government, families, schools, businesses, and local economies. Created in 1952 by a joint resolution of Congress, and signed by President Truman, the observance draws families and individuals from every walk of life. Please join us as we extend a special prayer for the Auto Industry and our automobile workers. The public is invited to attend!

This is a wonderful family and community event. The event is full of patriotic songs and meaningful prayers. There's not a better way to spend 45 minutes than praying for our neighbors, community, economy, soldiers, and schools.
