The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion becomes a world of visual wonder with the U.S. debut of The National Ballet of Canada's remarkable Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Christopher Wheeldon's choreography and imaginative production instantly became a modern classic at its world premiere in 2011. Created through a partnership between The Royal Ballet (UK) and The National Ballet of Canada, the production features 70 dancers, inventive sets and costumes by Bob Crowley, ingenious projections by Jon Driscoll and Gemma Carrington, and a live orchestra playing Joby Talbot's lavish original score.
